Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Forklift Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklift trucks. As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to our clients, ensuring their equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of forklift trucks, including electric, diesel, and LPG-powered models.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, understanding their needs, and explaining the work performed.
  • On-Site Visits: Travel to various client locations to provide on-site support, including emergency breakdown assistance and scheduled maintenance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools in the service vehicle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a forklift engineer or similar role in the material handling industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair forklift trucks.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
