- Assist in Managing Nursing Operations: Support the Nurse Manager in managing the nursing team, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Patient Care Oversight: Monitor patient care activities to ensure that high standards of care are maintained. Address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Staff Training and Development: Lead training sessions, mentor nursing staff, and promote continuous professional development within the team.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all nursing practices comply with current healthcare regulations and internal policies. Participate in audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical expertise and guidance to the nursing staff. Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Liaison with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Emergency Response: Act as a point of contact and provide leadership during emergency situations within the facility.
- Reporting: Prepare reports for the Nurse Manager and senior management on departmental performance, patient outcomes, and any areas for improvement.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license. Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
