Carbon60 are seeing an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team on a contract basis to support one of their sites and a long-term electrical fault.

Role: Electrical Project Manager
Sector: Renewable Energy (Offshore Wind)
Location: Can be done remotely, but regular travel to Lowestoft is essential.
Start Date: Likely November 2024
Duration: 6-12 Months + Possible Extension
Rates: 600 - 700 Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS (DBS, Financial Probity, Employment History) & Medical Questionnaire

Job Description:

  • Experience in installation and commissioning of offshore HV equipment, including project planning and offshore logistics.
  • Able to deal with senior stakeholders, insurers, legal and joint venture partners.
  • Able to scope and lead Root Cause Analysis work to determine root cause of fault
  • Able to develop documents for tendering and specification
  • Track record in delivery of offshore projects - eg offshore HV installation and testing
  • Competent project manager, ideally qualified to a recognised standard - APM etc
  • Strong communicator
  • Can be based remotely but travel to Lowestoft will be essential, especially during installation phase.
