Contract Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Lowestoft who are looking for a Forklift Engineering Services Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.

We are looking for a motivated and accountable individual to step into the vital role of Engineering Services Team Leader East/South East.

Key responsibilities will include:

Over seeing, planning and supporting Team East/South East with the daily tasks of services, maintaining and overhaul, fault find and resolve on a range of material handling products.

Lead, motivate, and support your team in delivering top-tier engineering services with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Develop and oversee team goals and strategies to enhance productivity and service quality.

Ensure the timely completion and documentation of all engineering and maintenance activities.

Act as a brand ambassador, upholding our company values of trust, support, and integrity in all interactions.

?? Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

?? Collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements and resolve engineering challenges effectively.

Your experience/qualities will include:

Demonstrable skills in engineering and customer service, with a strong foundation in problem-solving.

Experience in welding techniques is highly desirable.

Exceptional communication abilities and a focus-oriented mindset.

A confident and positive attitude, dedicated to help support and build a trustworthy team environment.

Proven leadership capabilities or readiness to step into a leadership role within the engineering sector.

Committed to personal and team development, inspiring growth and excellence with our company values in mind.

What will help you to excel in this role:

City and Guilds in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering related field. Qualified in related field or similar years' experience

Diagnostic computer skills. Experience with welding processes and equipment maintenance.

Proficient IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Full UK driving license.
