Teacher
We are looking for qualified teachers to join our Supply team in Lowestoft and the surrounding areas to work in an Alternative Provision and benefit from the flexible work we provide. The position is to start ASAP.
The amount of work you accept is 100% up to you! It can be anything between 1 and 5 days a week, and can fluctuate to meet your availability. We can provide adhoc supply for as and when you are free for work, long-term positions from 6-39 weeks, and temp-to-perm opportunities! Long-term roles will be paid in line with MPS.
4myschools specialise in offering advanced notice, pre-booked work, so even though you are taking on a flexible role you can plan your week ahead of time.
YOU DO NOT NEED to have a specialism in SEND yourself! The important thing when teaching SEND is that you understand the valueof inclusion and opportunity, and are someone who is able to see the children's strengths; offering encouragement and support.
ECT applications are very welcome (DID YOU KNOW? You can complete your induction in an SEND school!)
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification
- QTS (ideally)
- An Enhanced, Child Workforce DBS
- Availability Mon-Fri
- Previous experience of working with children with SEND
- A patient and empathetic manner
- The ability to adapt to the individual needs of the children
- Skills in leading and working as part of a team
