Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of each child within the EYFS framework.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as therapists and social workers, to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that enables students to learn and interact positively with one another.
  • Actively participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in an EYFS setting is essential.
  • Preferred experience working in a special school or with children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
  • A strong commitment to inclusive education and the safeguarding of children.
