Environment Officer
East Suffolk | Circa 35,000 | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you an experienced Environmental professional looking to grow their career in the space?

If so, then this role could be an ideal opportunity for you. You'd be working with a specialist company involved in the enabling and groundworks stages of some of the largest infrastructure projects across the UK.

Your main duties would be to provide onsite support for a major infrastructure project, managing environmental risks and impacts as well as waste management and climate mitigation.

Responsibilities for the Environment Officer will include:

  • Supporting the health, safety and environment team through managing on site environment risks and impacts
  • Co-ordinating and communicating environmental activities across the business
  • Provide administrative assistance and technical support with regards to the HSEQ function
  • General administration for the team, organising and collating data relevant to ISO standards


The successful Environment Officer will have:

  • Experience in a similar environmental role and has previously worked with ISO(phone number removed)
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline, and ideally hold (or working towards) a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM)
  • Excellent communications skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
