The Role:
SMART EDUCATION is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Science Teacher for a prestigious school in Ludlow. This full-time, temporary cover role is ideal for a passionate educator looking to make an immediate impact on students’ learning during the autumn term. The school is eager to interview candidates and conduct lesson observations as soon as possible, so early applications are encouraged.
The successful candidate will be joining a school that places creativity and student well-being at the heart of its learning ethos. Collaboration with the local community and other schools is highly valued, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging lessons to secondary students in line with the National Curriculum
- Providing cover and additional support within the school as needed
- Supporting students’ academic and personal development
- Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- At least 6 months’ experience teaching a variety of subjects in a secondary school setting
- Proven track record of raising student attainment
Salary: £145.23 - £215.25 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Temporary, immediate start
Location: Ludlow
