The School and Role

Do you live in or around North Liverpool or Sefton and want to make a real difference in local secondary schools? Vision for Education is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to support the learning and development of students in a vibrant educational environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that lessons run smoothly during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include supervising classes, engaging students with their assigned work, and managing behaviour according to school policies. For candidates with a subject specialism, there may also be opportunities to teach in your subject area, giving you the chance to further develop your skills and contribute to specific departments.

Whether you prefer the stability of a long-term placement in one school or the flexibility of working across multiple schools, this role will provide valuable insights into different educational settings.

Requirements

The desired Cover Supervisor will have;

-          Experience of working with secondary school aged children

-          A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
