Management Accountant FTC

Salary: £50 - 55,000

Location: Luton

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team for the next 5-6 months.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of selected accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports are generated. You will be responsible for the accurate processing and reporting of all financial transactions, including approving invoices, reviewing income statements, and reconciling entity balance sheets. This role provides a unique chance to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills will be valued.

What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will:

  • Take ownership of selected accounts from both a Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet perspective.
  • Review P&L's at month end against the company's internal budgets.
  • Provide insightful variance analysis explaining all relevant differences.
  • Oversee the production of timely, accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identify and implement improvements in the financial control environment relating to your designated accounts.
  • Engage proactively with management to enhance understanding of their respective financials.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position is:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA,CIMA, ACCA) with 1+ PQE preferred.
  • High Level of Integrity.
  • Ability to explain financial information to both financial and non-financial audience.
  • Effective at planning, organising and ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

This role offers hybrid work with 2-3 days per week on site in Luton.
