Engineering AdministratorBedfordshire £25,000 - 30,000 per annum
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly organised and proficient Engineering Administrator to support our client’s production and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a background from engineering or manufacturing , with the ability to review bills of materials (BOMs).and creating technical instructions for production, as well as supporting the procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Administration:
- Interpret drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) to produce clear, accurate production instructions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Update records with changes and ensure all documents are current.

Production Support:
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the smooth transfer of technical information to production teams.
- Provide assistance to ensure correct implementation of instructions and specifications.

Procurement & Buying:
- Support the Sourcing and purchase of components required for production.
- Manage supplier relationships and track the timely delivery of materials.
- Work with finance to ensure that procurement activities meet budget.

Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update technical databases and documentation.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare reports and data analysis for management when required.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Administrator, in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Excellent administrative skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
