Are you a skilled Quality Engineer seeking a challenging and varied role taking on responsibility of visual and dimensional inspections, handling of non-conformance and managing CAPA, liaising with suppliers, technical, warehouse and production teams? Our client are a growing manufacturer of electrical wiring accessories and circuit protection products who are owned by a much larger group who operate across various countries. 


Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Strong Electrical background 
  • Previously worked in a Quality Engineer / similar position 
  • Technical/Engineering background
  • Understanding and experience with internal audits is desirable

Salary / Benefits:

  • Competitive Annual Salary - £28,000 - £32,000

Experience:

  • Visual and dimensional inspection
  • Sample Inspection/Report
  • Handling of non-conformance and managing CAPA
  • Liaising with Supplier, Technical, Warehouse and Production teams
  • Liaise with suppliers on non-conformance/CAPA
  • Managing quarantine products/area
  • Preparing Quality Alerts
  • Increase quality awareness across the company
  • Performing Internal Audits (Quality, Environment and H&S)
  • Support in implementation of inspection procedures and tools for continual improvement
