Are you a skilled Quality Engineer seeking a challenging and varied role taking on responsibility of visual and dimensional inspections, handling of non-conformance and managing CAPA, liaising with suppliers, technical, warehouse and production teams? Our client are a growing manufacturer of electrical wiring accessories and circuit protection products who are owned by a much larger group who operate across various countries.
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Strong Electrical background
- Previously worked in a Quality Engineer / similar position
- Technical/Engineering background
- Understanding and experience with internal audits is desirable
Salary / Benefits:
- Competitive Annual Salary - £28,000 - £32,000
- Profit Sharing Bonus Scheme
Experience:
- Visual and dimensional inspection
- Sample Inspection/Report
- Handling of non-conformance and managing CAPA
- Liaising with Supplier, Technical, Warehouse and Production teams
- Liaise with suppliers on non-conformance/CAPA
- Managing quarantine products/area
- Preparing Quality Alerts
- Increase quality awareness across the company
- Performing Internal Audits (Quality, Environment and H&S)
- Support in implementation of inspection procedures and tools for continual improvement
