South57 Recruitment are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to work for a reputable Transport Company based in Luton.
Main Duties:
The ideal candidate must have previous experience with heavy vehicles (minimum 2 years)
Managing a small team of technicians making sure the fleet of buses/coaches are maintained to the highest standards. Your team will also have administration persons & cleaners
Scheduling Coach vehicle maintenance (80 vehicles) - approximately plus any defects
Checking daily defects from drivers and organizing them to be rectified
Ordering parts and checking prices
Booking MOT's
Making sure all the paperwork is in order for any audits the company may have.
Scheduling the small amount of outside work and brake tests.
Maintaining stock levels
Staff meetings
Ordering tools
Booking in training for staff
Leasing daily with the operations team, keeping them informed of any VOR's or vehicle progress.
Meetings with senior management where necessary
Hours of work:
07:00 1800
1 hour lunch
Must be available to work every other weekend
Holiday pay
30 days including bank holidays
Salary £55k plus
