Salary: £16 to £18 ph
Job Description:Â We are seeking a reliable and experienced Plant Hire Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of plant equipment to and from customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect plant equipment to and from customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure all equipment is securely loaded and unloaded, following safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with customers and the operations team to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably within the plant hire or construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
