Data Protection Manager

My client, a Global technology staffing firm, are seeking an experienced Data Protection Manager to provide technical support, advice to the wider legal team and businesses on data protection legislation and data processing.

The Data Protection Manager will collaborate and liaise with the I.T department closely on completion of privacy assessments, including Data Privacy Impact Assessments and Technical Impact Assessments.

This is a key role for the business and this candidate will be required to work to a hybrid model and will be the go to person for all things Data Protection for the organisation.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A solid understanding of and interest in data protection / privacy
  • Prior experience in providing broad support and advice in privacy matters
  • Strong technical knowledge in tools and systems
  • Attention to detail with analytical mindset
  • Excellent written English and communication skills
  • Experience in driving and handling data protection matters
  • Excellent understanding of the law and legal framework in which business operates

Desirables:

  • Understanding of recruitment sector
  • Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM)
  • Certified to GDPR Practitioner
