LWS Services are proud to be the chosen recruitment partner of a world-renowned manufacturer of Industrial recycling machinery.  Due to company growth within the UK, there is now an exciting opportunity for an ambitious National Sales Manager to join their rapidly expanding team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build & strengthen existing business relationships, planning and organising own diary following up business development and sales leads.
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Achieve planned sales targets and goals
  • Prepare weekly sales reports, quotations and order confirmations.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, exhibitions and conferences
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that existing clients are satisfied with the products, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor products, and test market products. Use this information to develop sales strategies and identify potential areas for growth.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s capital equipment products, including features, benefits, and value propositions, use this knowledge to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders to ensure that equipment meets the customer expectations and requirements using a consultative approach.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPI's.

Qualifications / Experience /Knowledge

  • Previously sold heavy plant machinery ideally within the construction industry.
  • Commercially astute and able to nurture relationships over long sales cycles.
  • A technical minded person who will ideally have progressed from an engineering background and understands the "Value Sell”.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field or several years’ experience in a machinery technical sales role.
  • Must have experience selling a value sale- selling the concept -showing how the investment can make the customer money, good quality Sales not bottom price discounts.
  • Able to hold able to hold credible conversations, along with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Willing to travel as required in the UK and Ireland, Europe and worldwide.
  • Hold a full valid driving licence.

  • Hours – 40 hrs per week (phone number removed) Mon to Thurs and 08.00 – 15.30 Fri)
