Our client, a leading UK metal stockholder, is currently seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their successful and growing team. The Role:The Sales Account Manager will play a key role in developing and managing customer relationships, handling incoming enquiries, and providing exceptional service to both new and existing clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of accounts within the metals industry
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Handling customer enquiries, providing quotations, and processing orders
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and working proactively to convert leads into orders
  • Liaising closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Maintaining accurate records using the company’s CRM system
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a sales, sales administration, or account management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn and develop within a sales environment
  • Experience within the metals industry would be advantageous, but not essential

Package Details

  • £25,000 - £30,000 depending on level of experience
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Full training and ongoing support provided
  • 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
