- Business Development: Proactively identify and engage new customers within the construction and heavy equipment sectors.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring strong customer satisfaction.
- Sales Execution: Effectively manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, and ensure sales targets are consistently met.
- Field Visits: Regularly visit clients in the field to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions, Covering Cambridge, Luton, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Northampton
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services to customers.
- Hunter-Gatherer Mentality: A highly driven and resilient individual, not afraid to "knock on doors" and build new business opportunities from scratch.
- Proven Sales Track Record: Experience in buying/selling heavy equipment or working in the end-user market (construction, agriculture, etc.).
- Strong Industry Knowledge: An understanding of the heavy equipment market and ideally knowledge of selling to end users or working with service providers (finance, parts, machines, insurance, etc.).
- Excellent Communication: Able to liaise effectively with both internal stakeholders and senior external clients.
- Resilient and Determined: Positive, optimistic, and goal-oriented approach to sales and relationship building.
- Experience in the heavy equipment or construction sector, with a strong understanding of the end-user market.
- Background in business development, sales, or account management, with a proven track record of hitting targets and building lasting relationships.
- Familiarity with auction-based sales processes and a passion for driving new business.
- Competitive salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
