Site Engineer

We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor specializing in major infrastructure projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team on the M1 Motorway project near Luton.

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our motorway upgrade project. You will be responsible for managing daily site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

• Oversee and manage site activities to ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed reports.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with engineering standards.

• Valid CSCS card.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Valid safety medical certification.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure projects, preferably in motorway or road construction.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Competitive daily rate of 450-500 (Inside IR35).
