Job Title: Crane Supervisor

Pay Rate: 21-23 per hour (depending on experience, via umbrella)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Crane Supervisor for a long-term project in Luton, starting at the beginning of November. This role offers a competitive pay rate between 21 and 23 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a CPCS Slinger Card and SSSTS or SMSTS qualification, with a solid background in crane supervision and site safety management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all crane lifting operations on-site, ensuring they are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Direct and supervise the lifting team, ensuring that slingers and crane operators are following safe working practices.
- Ensure compliance with site health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks as needed.
- Communicate with site management and other teams to coordinate lifting activities.
- Conduct daily inspections of lifting equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.
Requirements:
- CPCS Slinger Card (valid and in date).
- SSSTS or SMSTS (valid and in date).
- Proven experience as a crane supervisor on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of lifting operations and health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
