Lead Project Planner

6-month contract role

Paying up to £70p/h Umbrella (DOE)

ARM has partnered with a large Aerospace client who is looking for an experienced Lead Project Planner to work on a 6-month contract based out of Luton. As a Lead Project Planner, you'll be responsible for the quality and integrity of the project controls aspects required to submit secure and compelling proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio-level response from the Electronics Warfare line of business which will require collaboration and cross-functional working to deliver the required outcomes
  • Schedule activity will be conducted in P6 and use Primavera risk analyzer.
  • Coaching and supporting the bid team in the understanding of project controls best practices.
  • Application of Schedule Risk Analysis including identification, methods of analysis and recommendations for management.
  • Ability to work independently, in compliance with all procedures, and able to recognize appropriate escalation scenarios

Experience required:

  • Comprehensive and demonstrable Project Controls experience with proven expertise in bid phase and complex engineering development projects
  • Expert user of P6 Scheduling Tool
  • Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and recognize and positively interact with stakeholders up to VP level
  • Be an APMG Project Controls Practitioner - Desirable
  • Be eligible to obtain SC-level security clearance
