Working for a Consultancy focused on supporting major projects across the Infrastructure sector

Location: Luton (Hybrid working 3 days on-site and 2 days from home)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 basic + Package (Flexible for the right person and experience)

Role Description

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a Utilities consultancy involved with major projects, this role sits within the Utilities division and is focused on connections and diversions (Water, Gas and Power).

Working closely between the Utility provider, client and the main contractor this role ensures the Utility diversion is managed correctly. Looking at the designs, the approval process, technical assurance and then taking this through to the delivery. Working with the contractor to deliver the proposed package of works, highlighting any cost savings that can be made throughout the process.

Key responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

  • Development of the scope of works for the Utilities diversion.
  • Manage the permits and Utility providers.
  • Support in the creation of the project execution plans.
  • Technical assurance checks over the survey scope and delivery.
  • Managed Contractor & Sub-contractor performance.
  • Develop works programmes for the diversion.
  • Managed change for the utility diversion.
  • Lead internal and external meetings regarding the package of works.

Working in the client's offices you will be on site 3 days a week, working from home 2 days a week.

Required Experience

  • Formal qualification - HNC / HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in the Utilities sector - Managing pipeline installations from a consultancy or client interface perspective.
  • Full driving licence
