Role OverviewOur client based in Luton is seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to join their team on a fixed-term contract of 6-7 months. This role is pivotal in delivering training activities for a large-scale transformation project impacting approximately 3500 users globally. The successful candidate will work closely with various project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery and user readiness.Responsibilities
- Partner with the Project Training Lead and training team to create and finalise end-user training materials and e-learning modules.
- Oversee and assist in scheduling training sessions, and closely track end-user training completion during the training phases.
- Revise training materials as needed between deployment phases and before transitioning to business-as-usual (BAU).
- Determine end-user training needs and support the development of training programs by maintaining and updating the Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
- Efficiently and cost-effectively plan and deliver specific training activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
- Monitor participation in mandatory training and report statistics to the Training Lead and project leadership team.
- Assist Super Users in preparing to conduct training drop-in sessions.
- Work with BAU leads to develop and implement training, development, and succession plans that align with the training strategy.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across different time zones, primarily within Europe.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to travel to their Luton office 3 days a week
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering training for large-scale, complex transformation projects.
- Project management certification or experience in waterfall or agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with e-learning tools such as Articulate, Storyline, RISE, and Vyond.
- Familiarity with Global Learning Management Systems like Cornerstone or Degreed.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and planning abilities.
- The ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across various functions and geographies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading teams.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Adaptability, mental agility, and self-awareness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to style based on the region.
