Job Title: Mental Health Assistant
Location: Luton
Salary: £460-£500 per week (including holiday pay)
Qualification: Psychology and Criminology Graduate
Contract: Long-term, 5 days a week, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview:
As a Clinical Teaching Assistant, you will engage with challenging and sometimes anti-social situations, helping you build a strong foundation of experience. Starting soon, you'll focus on de-escalation techniques and effective communication strategies.
Role Requirements:
- Experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential
- Psychology and Criminology Graduate
- Caring individual with energy, drive, and enthusiasm
- Team player who can collaborate with teaching and support staff
- Willingness to support a pupil with personal care if necessary
- Initiative to support learning effectively
- Passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs
What You'll Need:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification at level 2 or above
- Local commute to Luton and surrounding areas
- A passion to work in the education and Training sector
