Warrant and service administrator required for our client in the agricultural industry to join their busy service department based in Luton. The position is in a business that is a long-standing dealer for market leading brands of agricultural machinery including JCB, McHale, McConnel, CLAAS, Horsch and Spearhead to name a few. The ideal candidate will have experience in warranty administration but this is not essential and strong administrative skills.

Warranty & Service Administrator Job Overview
  • Reviewing completed warranty repair orders and preparing claim forms along with supporting documentation.
  • Maximizing manufacturer reimbursements for all warranty work, including managing credit notes and associated paperwork.
  • Processing manufacturer warranty payments, returning warranty parts, and reconciling the warranty schedule.
  • Maintaining accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions for goodwill claims.
  • Ensuring that frontline staff accurately complete records when diagnosing warranty issues on vehicles or machinery.
  • Collaborating with team members, specialist repairers, and manufacturer representatives to maintain effective relationships.
  • Staying up-to-date with all warranty procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Following up on machinery and vehicle health checks.
  • Handling general service-related administrative tasks, such as answering phones during peak periods, invoicing, and time tracking.
Warranty & Service Administrator Job Requirements
  • Prior experience in warranty administration is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, manage conflicting demands, prioritize tasks, and organize work efficiently.
  • A professional yet approachable demeanour, with the ability to demonstrate integrity, discretion, and impartiality.
  • Capability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Technical knowledge is advantageous, as this role involves close collaboration with the Service Team and manufacturers.
Warranty & Service Administrator Salary & Benefits
  • £26,000-£29,000 salary depending on experience
  • Monday- Friday, 8am - 5.30pm with 1 hour unpaid for lunch (42.5-hour week)
  • 24 days holiday plus bank holiday
  • Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution
  • Life Assurance including dependent's pension.
  • Ongoing training as required.
