Nursery Teacher - Luton, Bedford - Paid to scale from day 1 - Maternity Cover - January 2025 Start

Are you an experienced Early Years teacher who is looking for a role in Luton from January 2025? Would you like to work in a school who values your well-being and ensures you have a healthy work life balance?

Our partner school are looking to recruit a passionate Nursery teacher to join them in January. This a full-time role and the school are happy to pay to scale from day one. Trials and interviews are taking place immediately.

This Christian faith school is based in the heart of Luton and proudly promotes a strong work life balance for all of their teachers. You will be given good amount of PPA time during the school week to ensure you are not taking too much work home with you. The school benefits from a strong SLT who ensure that your well-being is their first priority. They have built a strong culture within the school which means the children loving coming to school and are ready to learn from the moment they walk through the door.

The Early Years department believes in encouraging learning through play. The successful teacher will be able to make the most of every interaction with their students and be able to facilitate a safe and fun learning environment. You will be working alongside several qualified Nursery staff who are confident and able to support effectively throughout the day. You will be responsible for directing these staff and supporting their progress where necessary.

The ideal teacher for this post will have the following;

  • Strong experience working Early Years
  • Capable of building lasting relationships with students and staff
  • Well-organised and capable of working in collaboration with the other teacher in the job share
  • QTS
  • Located in Luton
  • Legal right to work in the UK - Sponsorship not available for this role
