We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive educational setting in Luton. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to help students overcome barriers to learning, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and speech and language difficulties.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the unique needs of each learner.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages students' social, emotional, and academic development.
Monitor and report pupil progress, maintaining detailed records for SEND interventions.
Support pupils during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities as needed.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEND in a classroom or similar setting.
Understanding of SEND strategies and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability in supporting individual learning needs.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND qualifications) are desirable but not essential.
