Exciting opportunity for a domestic Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer looking to to join a market-leading electrical compliance company, working on large-scale commercial properties. With monthly bonuses, regular overtime, and paid overnight stays, this role offers excellent earning potential and long-term career stability and the opportunity to gain paid qualifications.

This well-established company is a specialist in electrical compliance services, partnering with major blue-chip clients across the UK. They are industry leaders in EICR testing, remedial work, and emergency lighting inspections, providing high-quality solutions while investing in their engineers' growth and development.

As a Testing & Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting EICR reports, minor remedial works, and emergency lighting inspections across commercial properties. The role involves travel along the M5 corridor from Worcester to Exeter and from Worcester to London (Southwest region), with overnight stays required 50% of the time (3 nights, 4 days per week).

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to boost earnings, work for a leading company, and develop their career in the electrical compliance industry.

The Role:

  • Carry out Electrical Inspection & Testing (EICR) reports across commercial properties.
  • Perform light remedial work and record findings using Minor Works Certificates.
  • Inspect and test emergency lighting systems in line with BS5266 regulations.
  • Overnight stays required 50% of the time (3 nights, 4 days per week)


The Candidate:

  • City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2395 Inspection & Test
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition
  • Comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays.
