CTP is seeking a Cyber Security Tutor to join our team of qualified and experienced tutors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for shaping and positively impacting our students’ futures through the delivery of specialist L2 and L3 IT training and assessment, including cyber-security. This role requires a proactive and enthusiastic individual who can work flexibly, apply their own initiative, and has a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
Day to Day of the role:- Plan and deliver face-to-face and remote workshops in cyber-security, web design, social media for e-commerce, digital marketing, and digital business solutions.
- Provide personalised 1:1 support sessions for learners using various communication methods.
- Utilise online learning platforms and blended learning strategies to support learners.
- Conduct regular progress reviews, monitor attendance, and ensure learners meet their targets.
- Implement action plans for learners at risk to ensure timely achievements.
- Develop and share resources to enhance the delivery of qualifications.
- Carry out assessments and exams in line with guidelines, providing timely feedback.
- Promote equality, diversity, and well-being among learners.
- Support with centre administration tasks and contribute to marketing and promotion activities.
- Engage in CPD activities to maintain and enhance teaching and curriculum knowledge.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience delivering specialist IT qualifications in adult education.
- Teaching qualification (minimum L3 AET or equivalent).
- Current Assessor qualification.
- Relevant specialist IT qualifications at or above L3.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work flexibly.
- Commitment to CPD and willingness to develop new skills.
- Good level of written and spoken English communication.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with online and cohort delivery.
- Mathematics & English Qualification Level 2.
- Track record of supporting learners into job outcomes.
- Experience working with employers and referral partners.
- IAG L3 qualification.
- Higher-level teaching qualification (minimum L4 CET or equivalent).
