Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a robust control environment within the transactions team.
  • Focused on delivering results, setting and reviewing progress against targets, and motivating both yourself and the team to achieve goals.
  • Present weekly dashboards on team performance against targets to management, providing clear insights into team progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Take responsibility for short-term cash flow forecasting and currency funding needs.
  • Become the subject matter expert in payment processes (in and out) and the flow of data from the reservations platform into the ERP system.
  • Develop a strategic road map for process improvements within the transactions area, identifying opportunities for incremental improvements and more significant innovations.
  • Drive continuous improvements in payment practices to enhance performance.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong understanding of the finance transactions function.
  • Proven track record in process improvement or automation.
  • Ability to analyse and summarise high volumes of data with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in interpreting accounting complexities, including balance sheet, cash flow, and P&L.
  • Skilled in effectively communicating and challenging stakeholders at all levels, both financial and non-financial.
  • Capable of managing time across multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
  • Able to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proactive team player with the ability to work independently and offer solutions.
  • A self-starter with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
