Our client is seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their Central Overheads team in Luton on a 6 month contract basis. This dynamic role promises a stimulating environment where financial expertise will be pivotal to the success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage overhead costs for key business areas such as Finance, Insurance, Legal, and Group Markets
- Act as the primary finance contact for the Workday optimisation project
- Steer strategic and annual planning for overhead costs
- Create budgets, forecasts, and detailed monthly reports
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and evaluate business cases
- Provide insights on potential financial risks and opportunities
- Maintain and enhance relationships with different business functions
- Guide junior team members to achieve financial targets
- Full qualification in finance or a related field
- Prior experience using Workday is advantageous
- Experience with overhead processes in a large company
- Strong analytical abilities, particularly in variance analysis
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel, including macros; familiarity with TM1 is an advantage
- Proactive and solution-focused attitude
