- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Produce accurate monthly financial reports, perform variance analysis, and provide recommendations.
- Conduct monthly re-forecasting, identifying financial risks and mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with academy leaders, advising on financial decisions and best practices.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with regulations, policies, and audit requirements.
- Implement best practices and drive efficiencies in financial processes.
- Oversee payroll accuracy and sales ledger invoices.
- Strong experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Is Part or Fully Qualified.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, auditing, and compliance in the education or public sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in multi-academy trusts or education finance.
- Knowledge of grant funding management.
- Experience in payroll oversight and financial policies implementation.
