We are working with a highly reputable, modern and growing accountancy firm who are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has at least 3 years of experience in the accountancy profession and is currently studying ACA or equivalent.

Key responsibilities:

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will support a diverse range of clients, primarily in the medical sector, by preparing complex financial statements, tax computations, and returns.

  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and computations for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Build strong client relationships by liaising directly with clients to address outstanding matters.
  • Manage a portfolio of medical clients, including GPs and private medical practices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services, meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff, reviewing their work before passing to senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records and ensure all supporting documentation is complete.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to ensure files meet the firm’s standards.
  • Assist with management accounts preparation and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:
