Early Years SEND TA - Luton - January 2025 - July 2025

Do you have a passion for working with early years children with SEND? Are you available to commit for the rest of this academic year?

Tradewind are currently working closely with a brilliant mainstream primary in Luton who are looking for a talented Early Years educator to join them in January. You will be working closely with a number of children in their early years class with SEND. Many of these children will not yet be diagnosed so you will play a pivotal role in helping to track and report progress for the SENDCO and outside agencies. Our partner school is looking for an educator who is capable of thinking on their feet and providing a tailored approach suited to the needs of the child they are working with.

This school prides itself on its training and support given by the SLT. You will be given on the job training from day 1 and more structured support during INSET days. Tradewind also have access to a plethora of online training courses that you will be able to access from day 1.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track progress of the children in your care.
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment within early years
  • Collaborate with other early years staff to ensure the smooth running of the setting

About you

  • Passionate about working with children in early years
  • Previous experience, either personally or professionally, with children with SEND
  • Able to commute to Luton
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Available full-time - 8:30-3:30 minimum
