Role - Refueller / Shunter Main Purpose of The Job:To carry out equipment refuelling, equipment oil and water levels inspections, carry out electric vehicle battery water inspections and top ups, vehicle ferrying and other general workshop duties. To collect, remove, recover and return vehicles and plant from various locations when required.Main Duties and Responsibilities:-Liaise with Operations Manager as required daily-Carry out all refuelling duties, logging vehicle fleet numbers and fuel quantities on vehicles-Log all hours run and mileages of all vehicles being refuelled-Assist with engine oil and water level checks, including hydraulic checks on equipment and with battery distilled water checks on electric vehicles and top up if required-Log all hours run or mileages on vehicles having battery checks-Assist with the collection and delivery of spare parts when required-Move vehicles and equipment as and when advised-Assist GSE Technicians in the preparatory aspect of the vehicle movement, if requested-To use time scanning system at all times. Report immediately if system is not working-All non-productive time allocated to the correct job card for authorisation by the Workshop Supervisor -Carry out, on and off hire inspection in line with manufacturers and TC guidelines-Inform Supervisor of any VOR parts immediately-Quarantine, label and report all defective tooling immediately to the site Workshop Supervisor-Assist GSE Technicians with general duties-Ensure workshop vehicles are in order-Outcome, Results and Key Performance Indicators: -Efficiency in fleet refuelling-Non- productive hours-Absence and sickness monitoring
