Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Depot Supervisor to join our team, with the potential to progress quickly into a Depot Manager role. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily depot operations, ensuring timely and efficient logistics processes.
• Lead and motivate a team of drivers, warehouse staff, and support personnel to achieve performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, particularly in healthcare product handling.
• Manage stock levels, inventory, and inbound/outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Develop schedules and allocate resources to meet customer and business demands.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for review.
• Support staff training and development to foster a high-performing team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or depot management is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards and regulations, particularly in logistics or healthcare.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Good IT skills, including proficiency in warehouse or logistics software.
• Full UK driving license (desirable).
