My client is a leading medical membership organisation is currently recruiting for a Senior Administrator.

The Role of Senior Administrator

The role of the Senior Administrator is key in supporting and delivering the rapidly growing range of membership, customer and client services provided by the membership organisation, and increasing professionalism and quality in all that the organisation does.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Services Manager to ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day administration of the services department.collecting initial information relating to patient and regulatory complaintsassisting with new Entity insurance applications, amendments, and renewalsproducing and sending monthly insurance broker report and annual insurance renewal bordereauCompiling annual report for the Council.Administering new member and insurance applications and processing insurance renewals/payments, to include:processing 'new member’ applications and renewals (where necessary), and publishing their advertising requests onto the websitesetting up new direct debit instructions and making amendments where necessarycontacting members whose direct debits have returned as 'refer to payer or 'cancelled’checking for advertising applicationsupdating advertising spreadsheetchasing payments for events and online advertspublishing paid and free online events and job advertsManaging annual corporate membership (and insurance) renewals including welcome emailsmaintaining and updating the membership database, ensuring it’s kept currentresponding to enquiries by telephone and email in an efficient, friendly and timely manner from members, non-members and the general publicmonitoring membership and insurance fee debtors setting up / amending members practice / clinic detailsprocessing DBS checksdealing with insurance enquiries and setting up new policy holderssetting up and processing insurance renewals/payments and inputting paper declarations onto the CMS area of the websiteactioning the 'removals’ listsending insurance quotes to existing and non-membersadding additional therapies to insured members policy

General Office Admin Support, including:carrying out any other duties at the request of Association staffgeneral office and Organisation administrative tasksProviding CRM support for staff

Key Skills and Qualifications

Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent with passes in GCSE English and Mathematics.A good understanding of Microsoft Excel.A sound understanding of Microsoft Word.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.Knowledge of database management and CRM systems.Attention to detail.Experience of dealing with membership processes and able to use a CRM.Excellent written skills and the ability to advise members on responses to complaints.Knowledge of regulatory processes with regard to Fitness to Practice procedures.
