SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Luton
Full Time, Long Term
Monday - Friday (08:30AM - 4:00PM)
Rate of Pay: 85 - 95 per day
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in SEN and challenging behaviours to join our dynamic team. This full-time position in Luton is crucial in supporting students with varied needs and abilities.
This role has become available due to the school's ongoing commitment to providing exceptional support for children and young people.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Strong understanding of Behavioural Support Plans and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs or equivalent experience preferred.
* Support and manage students with challenging behaviours in KS1 - KS3.
* Implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavioural Support Plans.
* Collaborate with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
