Employer Description: 

Total Group International is a leading IT Support provider dedicated to bringing unlimited and trusted support plans to businesses looking to remove the burden of IT issues and help them focus on driving their core business. 

Vacancy Description: 

To provide exceptional remote and onsite support of Total Group’s customers and ensure all service standards are adhered to. All within a Windows environment 

Key Duties:

  • Providing hardware support and installations covering PC, Server, networking, Firewalls, Wi-Fi and disaster recovery.
  • Providing software support and installations covering Windows 10, Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365 (support, admin and migration), AWS, Virtualisation Hyper V / VMware
  • Complete customer change requests in line with agreed change management process and SLA’s
  • Progress and action all assigned tickets and ensure actions are fully documented in PSA tool
  • Escalate tickets where necessary to 2nd/3rd Line support
  • Update and create Knowledge Management documentation

Desirable Skills: 

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manners when supporting the business.
  • Providing hardware support and installations covering PC, Server, networking, Firewalls, Wi-Fi and disaster recovery.
  • Complete customer change requests in line with agreed change management process and SLA’s
  • Escalate tickets where necessary to 2nd/3rd Line support
  • Confident and comfortable with being on the telephone supporting all senior to junior stakeholders across the business
  • Update and create Knowledge Management documentation
  • Desirable would be having exposure within a Windows working environment

Personal Qualities:

  • Communicate clearly and concisely and to relay technical issues in non-technical language be enthusiastic and ready for a challenge

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
