A leading distribution company in the Luton area is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join their dynamic IT team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of the company’s global IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate must have hands on experience with AWS and be able to be the SME for this within the team. 

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years experience with AWS 

  • Strong architectural-level experience in Active Directory.

  • Expertise in ADFS/Entra, Security and Auditing.

  • Hands-on experience with DNS/DHCP, Windows Server (current & legacy versions), and Group Policies.

  • Exposure to datacenter environments and working with off-premise vendors.

  • Knowledge of network and server technologies, including:

    • SDWAN

    • Firewalls & WAF technologies

    • Citrix technologies

    • MS O365 integration

    • AI solution integration

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the infrastructure supporting global services (Datacentre & Cloud-based).

  • Provide and update documentation for services rendered.

  • Offer training to 1st/2nd/3rd line support teams.

  • Develop and implement continual service improvement plans.

  • Ensure services align with global business needs and Service Descriptions.

  • Communicate effectively with different levels and cultures within the organisation.

  • Foster a service culture approach within the IT team.
