Principal Systems Engineer

Multiple sites - Luton, Lincoln, or Bristol

6-month contract

Paying up to 65p/h (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and review of software test reports and Acceptance Test Descriptions
  • Creation of mission data for Acceptance Tests
  • Support of Test Readiness Review
  • Dry run of Acceptance testing
  • Formal run of Acceptance testing
  • Completing/reviewing Acceptance Test Reports
  • Completing/reviewing Verification Cross Reference Matrix

Experience required:

  • ?A solid foundation in a relevant technical domain exploited in an EW systems context/application.
  • Experience in authoring detailed test descriptions for formal testing.
  • Good understanding of design compliance and acceptance criteria relating to formal releases.
  • Previous experience in technical leadership of complex products.
  • Experience with the creation of Mission Dependent Data for Airborne Systems
  • Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem-solving and driving challenging issues to a conclusion alongside excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to obtain SC Clearance for UK-caveated programmes.
