AS/4 HANA Data Governance Specialist is needed to support a leading pharmaceutical company.

About the Role

Join a leading pharmaceutical company as an S/4 HANA Data Governance Specialist. In this role, you'll be pivotal in defining business data requirements within the S/4 HANA design process. You'll also be responsible for documenting S/4 Enterprise Data Standards and ensuring existing ECC data is ready for migration to S/4 HANA.

  • Location: Macclesfield or Luton (hybrid working)
  • Contract: 12 months
  • Rate: £500 per day
  • Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, document, and implement S/4 Enterprise Data standards for Procurement & Materials Management.
  • Apply expertise in data, process, and object to support S/4 process design.
  • Review and develop data quality rules for the data quality issue management framework.
  • Support project data migration processes, including pre and postload business sign-off.
  • Collaborate with current business data capability to ensure alignment with the S/4 design.
  • Influence data delivery prioritisation and provide inputs into progress reporting and escalations.
  • Define the change journey from current to future state data design, including change impact assessments.
  • Ensure non-SAP system requirements are considered in the data design.
  • Contribute to the data cleansing and enrichment approach for Procurement & Materials Management.
  • Ensure compliance with the S/4 HANA Data Governance Framework.

Required Experience

  • Significant expertise in Data Objects within Procurement & Materials Management.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Data Standards for a global enterprise.
  • Proven experience in Business/IT partnering for Master Data Management solutions.
  • Strong change management, interpersonal, assertiveness, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with S/4 HANA implementation programmes.
  • Expertise in Data Governance.
