Our client, a reputable organisation in the Defence & Security sector, are seeking x3 highly skilled and experienced Principal Test Solutions Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, developing, and implementing test solutions to support mission-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing test solutions using NI LabVIEW and Teststand applications
- Implementing and maintaining test solutions to ensure consistent performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive test solutions
- Utilising Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools for efficient project management
- Managing configurations using the Leonardo Teamcenter tool
- Documenting test processes and results to ensure traceability and compliance
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Ensuring all test solutions adhere to industry standards and safety regulations
Job Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of NI LabVIEW and Teststand applications
- Experience in software testing within the Defence & Security sector
- Proficiency in using Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with the Leonardo Teamcenter configuration management tool
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
