Role details:
Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Systems Engineer specialising in Architecture and Security for a contract role in Luton. This position is integral to the development of Model Based Systems Engineering, supporting advanced Air projects. The contract is for 12 months with the option of a condensed 4-day work week, primarily based onsite in Luton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Baselined updates and releases of models within CAMEO, including source control, design documentation and user guides
- Development of systems engineering plans, analysis and trade study reports, and contribution to system performance reports
- Develop and maintain Hazard Log, Security Risk Mitigation, and Technical Risk Lists in the model
- Manage and generate documentation from the module, such as Architecture Description Document, Interface Control Documents, and Requirement Traceability Report
- Propose high-level architecture roadmap and methodology for development in awareness of programme deliverables
- Review proposed Architecture Models
- Provide advice and input on system security requirements, architecture, and design concerns
- Develop candidate security architectures in response to specified security requirements
- Support delivery of the Secure by Design process by contributing to threat assessments, risk management, and security control development
Job Requirements:
- Proven knowledge in Simulation and Modelling using Matlab and SysML/CAMEO
- Knowledge of system architecture development
- Understanding of security aspects covering Information Warfare, Networks, Cryptography, and System Vulnerabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to steer technical interchange discussions
- Experience in Product Data Management using Teamcenter/SharePoint/Confluence
- Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem-solving and driving challenging issues to a conclusion alongside excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to obtain SC Clearance for UK-caveated programmes
