HGV Technician Needed
Company Vehicle ( mobile HGV Technician position)

Our client, a private independent fleet maintenance company, is seeking Mobile/Onsite HGV Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for vehicle repairs, safety inspections, and MOT preparations. We require a responsible and independent HGV mechanic who can work on various vehicles, from commercial to small vans.
Role:Mobile/ Workshop HGV Technician
Hours:Monday to Friday : 6pm -2pm one week; second week 2pm to 10pm; Saturdays- occasional @ overtime rate
Location:Luton
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out safety inspections
- Preventative maintenance checks
- Services
- Fault diagnostics
- MOT preparations
- Engine, gearbox, transmission, drive train, and clutch work
- Associated paperwork, reporting, and administration
Requirements:
- Must have a driving license
- Driving License Class 1 and Class 2 would be an advantage
- Reliable, trustworthy, literate, and able to work on your own initiative
- Must be flexible
- Previous experience is essential
- City & Guilds qualified or NVQ qualified in vehicle maintenance
