CCTV trainee engineer

Luton *Willing to travel and stay awake up to 4 nights a week*
Monday to Friday

As a trainee CCTV engineer, you will be required to:
- Install, service, maintain, test, and commission intruder alarm systems, IP surveillance systems, and access control systems, following SSAIB standards and regulations.
- Assist and learn from senior engineers, progressing from basic tasks to full system installations.
- Deliver high-quality installations efficiently, following detailed plans and specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring proper system functionality through testing.
- Conduct site visits to clean, check, and maintain systems.
- Communicate with site teams, request remedial work, and conduct surveys.
- Liaise with Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC).
- Produce commissioning, handover documents, and as-fit drawings.
- Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to Health & Safety procedures.
- Train clients on system operation and functionality.
- Attend staff meetings and health & safety talks.
- Collect and deliver equipment from designated locations.
- Complete required site visit documentation.
Candidate:
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of all Security Systems.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same.
- Complete any relevant health and safety tests/qualifications required to access site and carry out works above.
- Full Driving License (subject to inspection for company insurances)
- Employment will be subject to successful BS7858 security screening and Enhanced Disclosure Check (DBS).
- Must be willing to work away for up to 4 night
