An Excellent opportunity for a Engineer that has been directly involved with continuous improvement, manufacturing processes and is looking to join an industry leading and expanding company, to further their technical development and have a career with a well-established company.

This company have been established for over 200 years and due to continued growth are looking for an Engineer to play a pivotal role within the business to support day to day production processes.

This role would suit an Engineer from a precision machining or similar background looking to move to an industry leading and expanding company based in Luton.

The Role:

  • Supporting day to day production, defining processes including design of tooling ensuring the right quantity of components/products are delivered and aligned to support the speed of the production. You will review efficiencies and eliminate waste within the manufacturing process to deliver high quality products/components to clearly defined standards.

The Person:

  • Degree/Advanced/Higher Apprenticeship in Engineering.
  • Experience in a continuous improvement/process improvement role within manufacturing/production
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods around machining, welding, and assembly.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
  • Due to nature of company applicants need to be a british passport holder (dual nationality is fine, but first must be British).
