Job Title: Heavy Plant Fitter
Location: Luton, UK
Salary: 37,000 - 41,000 basic + Company Van
Are you an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter looking for your next opportunity? Join our clients civil engineering team in Luton, where you'll work on a variety of machinery including diggers, dumpers, excavators, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery (diggers, dumpers, excavators, etc.)
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Carry out both planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Mixture of workshop-based and mobile work at various sites
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter/Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs on heavy plant machinery
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
