Established over 80 years ago, our client was the first company in the UK to offer convenient Mobile Self Storage solutions. Not content with pioneering the Self-Storage industry, they also launched Document & Data Management which specialises in bespoke document and data storage.

This is a truly brilliant business to join and a very exciting part of their lifecycle. Our client likes to do things slightly different; they are fast paced but have a lot of fun!

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their busy warehouse and managing a team of employees, including drivers and warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Manage the team, conducting 1-2-1s, setting objectives, and monitoring performance.
  • Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries, collections, and accurate inventory management.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, organisation, and efficiency across the warehouse.
  • Handle staffing schedules, ensuring the team is fully resourced to meet operational demands.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery to our customers.
  • Implement continuous improvements to streamline operations and improve performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing warehouse operations and a team in a logistics, storage, or distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience conducting 1-2-1s and driving team performance.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic IT skills.
