OA are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for a Temp to Perm position in the Luton Area

Role: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Luton 

Hours: 40 working hours 

Salary: £14.50 per hour

 

Duties of a Warehouse Supervisor 

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows in your designated area.
  • Lead a team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Drive Health & Safety initiatives and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Train, develop, and support a multi-skilled team.
  • Communicate effectively across departments and external stakeholders.

This Role includes candidate to be responsible for:


Ensuring accurate picking, checking and despatching of products to avoid damage during transit 

Safely received products in Goods in including returns, check against delivery notes/PO's, book in and put away efficiently, resolving queries promptly.

Candidate also to Re-label and re-package products in Assembly area to a high standard, fulfilling customer requirements and prioritising back orders

Candidate to maintain stock integrity through thorough processing, system transaction auditing, physical cycle counting, and ad-hoc stock checking.

 

What we would like from you:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and team leadership.
  • Strong Health & Safety knowledge and a track record of safe practices.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a focus on collaboration.
  • Physical ability to manage warehouse activities (standing, lifting up to 20kg).
